Kimball Elementary School

Kimball Elementary School serves 303 elementary school students and is led by Prinicpal Sheila West Miller. The faculty and staff of Kimball envision the school as a prominent,
community-involved educational institution dedicated to academic
excellence. They believe that students, parents and teachers should
work collaboratively in order to foster a meaningful and sound educational foundation. The Kimball School family consists of a supportive, cohesive group of staff, parents, students and community stakeholders whose goal is to prepare students to meet the challenges of their world today and tomorrow.

Volunteers will help Kimball achieve their mission of inspiring students, teachers and parents. Volunteers will paint the Parent Resource Room to make it more inviting for parents. They will also paint book covers on canvases to put through out the school and will also paint inspirational quotes in the halls to inspire students, teachers and parents.

Location: 3275 Minnesota Avenue Washington, DC 20019

When: Monday, January 17, 2010
